Such a good burger! The chicken is awesome ( my son loved it) and the best part: fried egg in a burger. Just like the Brazilians like! It is a come back for sure.

STOP! If you are considering eating here, do yourself a favor and "Don't"! I ordered a classic burger and asked for cheddar and bacon to be added. Got American cheese like anywhere else, but they didn't even melt the cheese, just slapped it on. Ordered a single patty because I'm not a big eater. Made it a combo for $2.99 more. The fries were discussing. They had no customers, so I think they took old fries, and threw them back in the grease for a minute to heat up or either microwaved them. So gross, I ate 2 and quit. My granddaughter, who loves fries, wouldn't even eat them. This meal cost me almost $11.00. I would have been better off at Burger King. Was expecting a gourmet burger, ended up with what seemed like a box burger from Costco.

After trying their sample and liking it, I gave this place a shot. The burger I ordered was the classic burger and fries special they have and after waiting a bit for the food the fries were hot and so was the burger. The taste and equality of meat didn't meet my expectations for this place. I also received 3 huge raw onion rings still stuck together in my burger. Now I love raw onions, specially on a burger but this was just plain overkill and so out of disgust I removed the onions altogether. Overall this place has potential but it's obvious that some things aren't right in the kitchen and maybe, just maybe I'll give them another shot after I forget about the onions.

The only things keeping this place from getting five stars are the fries and the price. I'm a fry snob. If the fries aren't just right, it hurts my view of the whole meal. If the fries are on point, I can forgive just about anything else. The fries, while hot, were a bit undercooked and dense. At these prices, Brutus shouldn't be serving subpar fries when you can get a better value and product at a place like Red Robin. My burger was good and hot. A bit sloppy, but I don't mind that. The meat could have used a little more seasoning, but some salt took care of that. Brutus has an AMAZING cookies 'n' cream shake. It's worth the money. I had to fight to keep my wife from drinking all of it. I will be sure to get one every time we come to this mall.

Just no. Super small patty with absolutely no flavor. I love an egg on a burger, so when I saw the breakfast burger I thought great! But it's kind of like burning microwave popcorn, when you burn an egg it tastes like crap. Put that on the flavorless burger patty you're left tasting the overcooked bacon that wasn't even warm. If I hadn't paid almost $11 for the combo and gotten fries it would have been a total disaster because the burger was an embarrassment to say the least. Don't waste your time. If you do one thing do it well. Great menu, half assed effort. Maybe you guys had the D team working today back there.

Love this place! Surprising for a food court they should expand at other locations outside the mall. Great Colombian Burger and the loaded fries were the bomb! Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly and very entertaining.

Couldn't find the zero star option, can't believe I didn't check yelp before my purchase , thought I would try the new place I've never heard of before , big mistake , counter staff completely indifferent which made the burger taste even worse , another food court disaster to quickly come & go , I predict in less than 6 weeks

I rarely give five stars, but this place was superb. Maybe I had low expectations since it was in the food court, of the mall. Who knows. My spouse and I were looking for a place for lunch and Yelp gave it good reviews so we ventured out since we love burgers. My spouse ordered the 50/50 and I ordered the double Brutus BBQ Burger with sweet potato fries and a drink. To add a patty to a burger is $2, and the sweet potato/soda combo add on was $3.99. We took both burgers as is, medium. Both were delicious, cooked to about medium well. Both had bacon, which was also a plus. The fries were not stringy, warm and crunchy with just enough salt The wait time was around 10 minutes, but well worth it. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back!

Nothing out of the ordinary, I've eaten better hamburgers at burger king. The french fries were undone. Girl in the counter was very rude like is she was doing us a favor for eating here. From an awesome day with my wife, this place just ruin the mood.

I had been eyeing this place since their signage went up a while back. One thing the Altamonte Mall needed was a good burger place in their food court. This definitely fits the bill, and the pricing is quite reasonable. The first thing I noticed is the impressive variety of both hamburger and chicken options. Overall, I found the selection much larger than your typical hamburger/cheeseburger/bacon cheeseburger. I personally ordered the chicken teriyaki, which was a tad salty, but had great flavor. The chicken was actually chunks of chicken that were marinated in the teriyaki, with a pineapple slice that worked well to round it all out. What is a nice touch about this place is also what could potentially be the most frustrating aspect of the restaurant. They don't make anything ahead, so when you order, you will be getting a fresh burger. That is great for me, as fresh is always best, but for those in a hurry, just know this ahead of time. I will definitely be back, as I eyed at least 3 other burgers I will want to be trying in the near future.

I never think I'm in the mood for a burger and then they give me a sample and suddenly I'm ordering food. Staff is always super friendly and very helpful. Burgers are delicious, and way over expectations for a food court. They're definitely in my top 3 for favorite burgers in the area. The fries aren't bad and I think the meal price is a little high, but everything is also always fresh.

Definitely not your typical fast food burger, so don't expect fast food prices. These were thick hand made burgers like you might grill at home. There is lots to choose from on the menu, much of which are new and creative choices for burger toppings. Some of these included pico de gayo and black beans, pineapple and potato chips , and feta cheese and olives. The 50/50 is worth trying. A beef patty topped with a grilled chicken breast. Get it on the garlic bun if you're not afraid of flavor. I made the mistake of ordering a double burger, which was too much food, and too thick to bite. I took the extra patty to go for later The burgers were cooked well done, while I prefer medium to medium rare. This was not something offered. The wait for the food was also longer than most of the other food court choices, but this could be due to the patty thickness.

Excellent food. The Say Cheese Dog is the bomb. Everything is made to order so there is a small wait, but trust me it's worth it. This place is definitely what the mall has been missing. A very welcome addition with friendly service, cheap prices, and tasty food. And the owner and a lot of the employees are straight out of New York so of course I have a soft spot (I'm a Queens kid). Come try this place out. You won't be sorry.

This place is new in the Altamonte Mall, however they know how to make amazing burgers & fries! The fries are beautifully seasoned & all crisped to perfection. I had two Coney dogs & fries, for $8 mind you, & it was the perfect amount of good flavored food ever!

New place at Altamonte mall, only burger place. Being that it is new had to try it. For $7.99 you get a burger, fry, and drink so pricing is not bad. We give it average at best, being that they sell mostly burgers as their star entree, that entree needs to be outstanding. The burger was indeed thicker then others, but also smaller. It really had no taste, to the point that my own burgers off my own grill are better. The frys were typical bag bought crinkle frys. We won't be going back, I guess if you get a fancy burger with an egg and bacon it could be tasty, but the burger alone won't do it here. If you do go, I wouldn't even bother with the over salted frys. If you do just get one it's enough for two or three. They really don't bring any taste to meal, just bland and frozen. With all of the other average food choices in this mall, I think you can find something better. This mall like all others has average food, at high prices. I don't see a reason to go to Brutus again.

Terrible experience. Was waiting for food and drink very busy . One cashier and 2 cooks. A tall employee walks to the back going on about winning 500 in 1 hour. Then comes to the front where you order. Starts to rub lotion on his tattoos then finishes it with rubbing his hands thru his Mohawk . He then decides to help the cashier. He then starts to expedite the food. He hands us our tray and then gets our drink. Not once has he washed his hands. Several issues here ..... What happened to All employees must wash hands before returning to work! I make him aware of what he is doing and he proceeds to say "technically if I'm not in the front I don't have to wear gloves because I'm not touching the food." A more proactive response should have been "yes mam I will wash my hands, that was an oversight on my part" end of story!..............As he is getting the drink he puts the ice scooper back in the bin as opposed to outside of the ice bin. Per health dept.. that is cross contamination because now your greasy lotion hands that have been rubbed on your arms and Mohawk are now in the ice bin touching everyone else's ice. Sometimes someone needs to make us aware people are watching you and it may not be for the reasons you think. It's not about "technically" it's about customer service . As a food service employee you ALWAYS have to be aware of what you are doing, especially when you are directly in front of the customers. If you have no customers you have no job. So you kind of do need us customers.
